Future Handler???

While his new dog Dixie probably won't win the Animal Planet Championship, it looks like Gabe may be well on his way to showing dogs. What beautiful form, even if it is on the wrong side!!

Meet and Greet and SCRMC

It took all of about one week in Laurel for Gabe to find a reason for us to visit the E.R. We got to meet the staff after Gabe fell into a chair and split his head open, just above his eyebrow. It doesn't really look this bad always, but he wanted to show off his "boo boo" while it was covered for bathtime.

Tonight is the very last night we will in any way live in Amory. We are glad to finally be done with the moving process, but it's bittersweet at best. No, this house wasn't perfect....not even close...but it was ours, and that made it perfect enough for us. We moved in right after we got married, literally! This is where we brought Gabe home from the hospital. It's where I spent many afternoons talking on the porch with Grandmama and climbing the tree in the backyard. It's where I ate "Christmas Eve Eve" dinner every year. It was Grandmama's very last gift to me.....

So long, old friend....thanks for the memories!!!
